Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Involgo Compliance Sherpa (the “Service”) provided by Involgo. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Compliance Sherpa is a set of AI assistants — BackChat, Criminal Decoder, and MVR Decoder — built to help background-screening and compliance teams interpret records, statutes, and codes.
2. Not legal advice
The Service provides reference and guidance only. Output is generated by AI models and is not legal advice. You are responsible for verifying any output against the official source and consulting qualified counsel before acting on it. Involgo is not liable for decisions you make using the Service.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the organization you represent. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
4. Acceptable use
- Don’t upload data you don’t have permission to use.
- Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Don’t use the Service to make automated adverse-action decisions.
- Don’t share access credentials outside your authorized seats.
5. Plans, billing & cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe at the prices listed on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from the billing portal in your Account page; access continues until the end of the current period. Plan message limits apply per billing period and may be enforced server-side.
6. Data & privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data. Your chats and uploaded records are stored securely, are never used to train AI models, and can be deleted from your Account page.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its branding, and its software are owned by Involgo. You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Involgo’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; on termination your right to access the Service ends.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
